I got to pile in the car with this group and drive out to eastern Washington. Hang out in the middle of nowhere outside Ellensburg and shoot video all night except a brief nap inside a real caboose (thx steve) before getting up early for the magic hour in the valley. The experience of hanging out with friends is what I wanted this one to feel like. It was pretty easy to pull off. Enjoying time like this is why I am grateful to be a part of the underground music community. Much fun with suitcase. I tried to get this one to hang with the come back video I did for them. We’ve got fire and water. Next comes? Oh, by the way, this song sounds fantastic in typical Suitcase fashion.
p.s. There was one thing that wasn’t too much fun about this video. The cardiac arrest I nearly had after I was scared out of my wits by Don blasting a trombone right behind me from out of the pitch black. HELLO! Collateral damage apparently as I was too close to Ed and it was pay back time. A little jittery just thinking about it. Truly shocking :). Fantastic execution on the note from Don though. It was a true splaaaaahhhht if you know what I mean.
