{"id":2647,"date":"2021-02-09T00:24:54","date_gmt":"2021-02-09T00:24:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/secondandmontana.com\/?p=2647"},"modified":"2021-02-10T23:47:25","modified_gmt":"2021-02-10T23:47:25","slug":"lake-22","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/secondandmontana.com\/?p=2647","title":{"rendered":"LAKE 22 &#8211; WALLS"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Went up to Snoqualmie, WA to shoot this with a new to me band called Lake 22.&nbsp; We shot this on the basketball court of the home of one of the band members.&nbsp; It was a good experience, but was a little peculiar because it was my first shoot wearing masks behind the scenes and normally this is the type of look I would try to do indoors in order to control the light a bit more.&nbsp; But, these strange times call for all kinds of different solutions.&nbsp; Lake 22 didn\u2019t let any of it phase them and we wound up hitting the mark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speaking of Lake 22.\u00a0 Hello.\u00a0 Very cool young band getting out there and rocking it.\u00a0 I could tell even though they were young they were seasoned.\u00a0 I was impressed with how well each of the musicians could play their parts in sync to the recorded song.\u00a0 Especially the drummer, Willem.\u00a0 Easier said then done.\u00a0 Bella and Tyler, the singers on this number, turned it on.\u00a0 Jonny and Dylan brought their thing as well.  Great to see musicians that can play and connect with the audience. \u00a0 This band has real chops and they are just getting started.\u00a0 It was fun to work with such a young band and they really brought their A game of enthusiasm to this piece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the visuals I wanted to create something that lent itself to the song lyrically, but allowed me to show how much energy and connection the band brings.&nbsp; The band said their favorite color is red, so I figured let\u2019s go bold with that choice.&nbsp; I think it turned out sweet and appreciate how easy going everyone was to work with.&nbsp; Big thanks goes out to Aeon Corvidae for helping out with the hair and make up and giving it that little extra splash of color and detail. &nbsp; Thanks goes to Jeff Scott for all the help in the lead up and the shoot day.&nbsp; Also thanks go out to the 2 Jeffs on Music (Jeff Ross and Jeff Heiman) for connecting me with the band.&nbsp; And also a shout out to Julia Massey from Warren Dunes, who connected me with the 2 Jeffs.&nbsp; It takes a village.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bonus was the nice hot day with the gorgeous back drop of the area around Snoqualmie and what I think was Mt.
